Rockwell Farms uses an advanced Energy Curtain System to achieve a Better Natural Environment.

Our Energy Curtain System traps the heat allowing us to raise and lower the greenhouse temperatures without the use of electricity or fuel. This system is composed of moveable fabric panels that are use to cover and uncover the space below. This technology gives us control of the amount of sunlight that is let in our greenhouses.

There is a broad range of control that these curtains allow us to have, they can be completely pulled aside allowing full sunlight, can partially cover an area with shade to cool it down, or to completely block out the sun to create a false night by reducing the light to 1%. Complete blackout capability is an  imperative feature for greenhouses, not only because of the ability to create a false night but to serve as a heat retention device during cooler nights.
