Rockwell Farms is proud to employ Green Initiatives.

We feel that our plants help beautify the world around us and what better way to keep it beautiful than to do our part to help as much as possible. Here are some of the things we do to run our greenhouse in an efficient and environmentally conscience way:

· Recycling Water - We capture and reuse 99% of the water used in our facility. Our 10,000,000 gallon retention pond makes this possible.

· Green Transportation - Use of electric carts cut down on gas and diesel pollution.

· Energy Curtain System - We trap the heat in our greenhouse, thus limiting our fuel usage.

· Floor Heat - All concrete floors in our greenhouse are heated, reducing our overall energy usage while aiding in plant growth.

· Reclaiming Heat - Our energy efficient broiler system reclaims heat to efficiently run at 150 degrees instead of the normal 300 degrees.

· Argus - Is an environmental control computer system, which easily controls numerous variables including water temperature, air temperature, and humidity in our greenhouse. This system opens and closes roof panels as necessary to maintain the appropriate temperature inside the greenhouse.
