Fertilizer & Chemical Reduction to Reduce Chemical Runoff

Rockwell Farms has reduced normal fertilizer usage rates from 300 parts per million to 100 parts per million. This is one-third the industry standard.

By reducing the intensity of our fertilizer it lowers the amount of chemical runoff we have in our greenhouses. Using less chemicals makes the growing process a little tougher on our growers, but we are helping control the chemical residue we produce.

Our growers are continually trying to learn new and more environmentally friendly ways to grow our crops.
