Rockwell Farms Inc.  is a wholesale greenhouse facility located in beautiful Rockwell, North Carolina. Our company has been servicing major chains and independent stores across the Southeastern United States since 1979.

Rockwell Farms specializes in spring annuals, bedding plants, hanging baskets, and container pots. In the fall we produce 750,000 hardy mums as well as 400,000 vibrant poinsettias to meet the demand for the holiday season.

Rockwell Farms is proud to employ Green Initiatives. We feel that our plants help beautify the world around us and what better way to keep it beautiful than to do our part to help. Here are five things we do to run our greenhouse in an efficient and environmentally conscience way:

• Recycling Water - We capture and reuse 99% of the water used in our facility.
• Energy Curtain System - We retain the heat in our greenhouse, thus limiting our fuel usage.
• Floor Heat- All concrete floors in our greenhouse are heated, reducing our overall energy usage while aiding in plant growth.
• Reclaiming Heat- Our energy efficient broiler system reclaims heat to efficiently run at 150 degrees instead of the normal 300 degrees.
• Argus Environmental Control Computer System- This amazing system controls numerous variables including water temperature, air temperature, and humidity in our greenhouse. This system opens and closes roof panels as necessary to maintain the appropriate temperature inside the greenhouse.
